Sculpture at Hillview, Biennial Sculpture Festival
Now a unique heritage hotel, Hillview was, from 1882 to 1957, the summer retreat of NSW Governors - the magnificent building and grounds became the centre of the cultural life of the spectacular Southern Highlands in NSW. The glitterati of the time attended balls and parties along with some of Australia’s most distinguished artists, professionals, politicians, and society people.
Sculpture at Hillview 2016 has now taken its place as one of the nation’s outstanding arts festivals. 170 works were placed throughout the Hillview grounds and the original stately buildings providing the perfect backdrop for a diversity of sculptural approaches by local and international artists.
PCD undertook the creation of the visual identity and all 2016 collateral as its pro bono project for the year.
Elegantly branded marketing materials, advertising, prospectus, banners, signage and high end catalogue provided a cohesive look and feel for the Festival, demonstrating its maturity as a major arts festival, and encouraging sponsorship, visitation and, importantly, sales.
